Terms of Service
The rental terms every HomeHaven customer agrees to when booking a dumpster.
Your Rental
Every rental includes delivery of one 16-yard roll-off dumpster, pickup at the end of your rental period, and disposal of up to 2 tons (4,000 lbs) of material. Flat rates start at $300 depending on rental length. The rate quoted at booking is the rate you pay as long as the load stays within the terms below.
Rental periods begin on the confirmed delivery date. Need more time? Call or text us before your pickup date and we'll extend the rental at a daily rate we quote up front.
Prohibited Materials
These items can never go in the dumpster
- Hazardous waste of any kind (chemicals, solvents, pesticides, pool chemicals)
- Paint, stain, or varnish in liquid form (dried-out cans are fine)
- Motor oil, fuel, antifreeze, or other automotive fluids
- Batteries of any kind (car, lithium, rechargeable)
- Tires
- Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials
- Medical or biohazardous waste
- Refrigerators, freezers, or AC units with refrigerant still inside
- Propane tanks, pressurized cylinders, or explosives
- Electronics in quantity (TVs, computers — single household items are OK)
If prohibited materials are found in a load, the landfill rejects it and passes disposal and handling fees to us — those fees, plus any fines, become the customer's responsibility. Not sure about an item? Call us first — a two-minute call beats a rejected load.
Weight Limits & Heavy Materials
Every rental includes 2 tons of disposal. Loads over 2 tons are billed at a per-ton overage rate we quote up front — no surprise line items. Heavy materials like concrete, brick, dirt, and roofing shingles add weight fast; tell us about them when booking so we can set expectations and, for very heavy loads, recommend the right approach.
Please don't load material above the top rail of the dumpster or wedge items into the door. Overfilled containers can't be transported safely or legally, and we may need to remove items before hauling.
Placement & Property Responsibility
You confirm the placement spot is safe and accessible: a firm, level surface with clear overhead space (no low wires or branches) and room for our truck to back in. We place boards under the rails on driveways at no charge.
While we take every reasonable precaution, HomeHaven Dumpsters is not responsible for damage to surfaces a customer directs us to place the dumpster on, or to lawns, sprinkler systems, septic lines, or other underground features we can't see. If a permit is required for street placement in your city, the customer is responsible for obtaining it — we'll tell you if we think one is needed.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Life happens. Reschedule any rental for free with at least 24 hours' notice — call or text and we'll move your dates. Cancellations made before the truck is dispatched are refunded in full. Once a truck is on the road for your delivery, a trip fee may apply.
Payment
Payment is processed securely through Square at booking. Your delivery date is locked in once payment is complete. We never store your card details on our servers — see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
